The 2.1 liter displacement is more than any competing 115 hp engine. This combination provides more torque, better performance and longer durability.

  The Mercury F115 Pro XS is the engine for those who want extra power, higher torque and faster acceleration. Despite the stated 115 hp, the Pro XS delivers almost 130 hp. All this at the market’s lowest weight of only 174 kg.
  The CT version with the larger “CT” gearbox provides better ability to lift heavier hulls and get them to plane, even at lower speeds. With a gear ratio of 2.38:1, the engine revs up faster and thus develops high torque faster.
